Full wine-lees basane, triple cold fillet framed with gilded fillets, gilded and cold-formed composition using one of Dalí's woods, decorated lower cover, dated and signed by the artist, spine ribbed and gilded titled, gilded head, moire lie de vin guards, untrimmed, gilded cover decorated with a collage, interlocking half-basane and moire lie de vin (Renaissance of the Book).
Illustrated edition with 7 engraved woods, a collage in colour, and colour copper engraved with diamonds by Salvador Dalí.
Edition of 475 copies, this one of 90 on Rives vellum (no. 10), signed, in pencil, with justification by the artist.
Copy with the woods, all signed by Salvador Dalí, and a copperplate engraving also signed by the artist. A fine work in which, according to the publisher's mention, the copper has been scratched and part of the woods destroyed, making a new edition impossible, and the other part preserved by Dalí himself
(good general condition, despite some epiderminations on the back and sunstroke, the nest in a state of use).
