Unique edition of 250 copies on paper monogrammed by René Char. Enclosed is an autograph letter signed by René Char addressed to Georges Sadoul. Paris, June 8, 1938 (1 page in-8 in ink on paper, envelope preserved). René Char assures Sadoul of his affection at the death of his companion: "Allow me to assure you of my very affectionate solidarity, of my very fraternal emotion. Georgette who had met her one evening at your side had told me such a good thing that I thought that life for you was finally just what had made me happy. An original photograph of René Char is also attached to his work table (8 x 10 cm).

Tirage unique à 250 exemplaires sur papier à la cuve monogrammé par René Char. L'on joint une lettre autographe signée de René Char adressée à Georges Sadoul. Paris, 8 juin 1938 (1 page in-8 à l'encre sur papier, enveloppe conservée). René Char assure Sadoul de son affection à la mort de sa compagne: «Permets-moi de t'assurer de ma solidarité très affectueuse, de mon émotion très fraternelle. Georgette qui l'avait rencontrée un soir à tes côtés m'en avait dit un tel bien que je pensais que la vie pour toi se montrait enfin juste ce qui m'avait rendu heureux». L'on joint également une photographie originale représentant René Char à sa table de travail (8 x 10 cm).
