In-12, dedication, forgery, title, 327 pp., 1 ff. bl... Full long-grained red morocco, spine titled with gold nerves, upper plate decorated with the number "A. M." with a count's crown with two fillets, one of which is gilt, a gilt roulette frieze on the inside covers, gilt edges, unbleached silk endpapers, preserved green silk bookmark (period binding).
Original edition. Autograph in brown ink from the author addressed to the then Minister of the Interior, Count Charles Auguste de
Morny (1811-1865).
