Petit in-12 étroit, 37 pp., in French. Full brown morocco, compositions in relief on the covers and spine, paper endpapers dominated, red edges (period binding by Gruel & Engelmann).
Charming and rare binding with a carved leather decoration made by Gruel-Engelmann.
Top cover with carved embossed leather decoration, showing in relief two scenes from the New Testament in quatrefoils: in the upper register, the Crucifixion and in the lower register, the Adoration of the Magi.
The lower plate and the back are decorated with embossed leather.
