He was not very well and on the evening of the premiere he was exhausted, and forgot everything, and everyone.
The show went very well: great ovation, especially in the second act. He's a little better now, and asks for forgiveness for his forgetfulness... But he's not well, he's too sad and the life he leads weighs on him.
