SUITE OF FOUR GIGOGEN TABLES
in burgundy lacquered and gilded wood ornamented
on the trays with a decoration of dignitaries
on a background of palaces in reserves.
The borders are decorated with a vegetal decoration
and animals. The openwork base joined
by a spacer bar is finished
by claw feet.

PROVENANCE
These small tables would have belonged to
the Countess of La Poëze and received as
a gift from the Empress Eugénie de Monitjo
of whom she was a childhood friend and Lady
of the Palace.
