L'Arceau, a watch born at Hermès in 1978, will be fitted with an unusual complication in 2011. Presented at Basel World, this watch allows you to stop the passage of time. With a simple press on the push-piece at 9 o'clock, the hands stop in a narrow V-shape. While the mechanism inside the watch continues to work, the watch no longer indicates the time until you press the push-piece again: the hands resume their course. A unique and poetic complication.
