Olivier Rizzo, known as SPEEDY GRAPHITO, is an artist born in 1961 in Paris. After studying at the École Estienne in Paris, he joined the group X-Moulinex in 1983 with Capt’ain Fluo, a photographer and videographer. He stayed with the group for only one year before continuing on his own under the name SPEEDY GRAPHITO.

He began by tagging walls with schematic and dynamic characters, and later decided to diversify his art forms. He experimented with sculpture, painting on canvas, installation art, as well as photography and video. In 1987, he introduced ‘Lapinture,’ a style unique to him that blends words and colors to form a drawing. However, always seeking innovation, SPEEDY GRAPHITO enjoys changing his style to break away from conventions.

This internationally recognized artist is known for using symbols of today’s consumer society in his works. Additionally, he incorporates iconic figures from the 20th and early 21st centuries, such as cartoon characters, fast-food chain logos, and more.

The artist shuns media attention and even tries to avoid it. Today, his works are featured at auction houses, and their prices sometimes soar! We have had the opportunity to auction SPEEDY GRAPHITO's works, with one piece selling for nearly 15,000€.

Aguttes' STREET ART department was founded in 2011 to meet the growing demand in the art market.
