Aston Martin DB7 Vantage – 2001 - Lot 28
Aston Martin DB7 Vantage – 2001 French registration title The DB7 was launched at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show with the aim of putting Aston Martin back on the road to recovery. It did just that, thanks to a splendid design by Ian Callum and a major move into the American market. 6 years later, a version powered by a 6-litre V12 called the “Vantage” was launched, which was to become a collector’s item alongside the splendid Zagato! This example is delivered new in this elegant, discreet and above all historic (it’s the DB5’s flagship colour!) shade of Silver Birch, with a black and off-white leather interior. It’s also worth noting that the rare option of a carbon interior was taken up by the first owner. Today, the car is in very good condition and has just 55,500 km on the clock! The bodywork is very attractive, such as the upholstery which is very well preserved. The current owner bought the car 9 years ago, and since then has never stopped maintaining his dream car as much as possible! The stamped service history is still present, along with a large file of invoices. During our test drive, we could see that this attention to detail had resulted in a car that, after 24 years, still runs like new. The automatic gearbox makes for a very comfortable drive, and also helps to tame the torquey V12! With less than 55,500 km on the clock, this Vantage is one of the finest DB7s available on the market; enthusiasts looking for a beautiful GT at a reasonable price, this is a superb opportunity that will become a must-have in any collection!
