AFTER PIERRE CHAREAU & MCDE (PUBLISHER) Dining table, Reifenberg model created in 1927, made circa 1980 Rectangular top in Maccassar ebony veneer, architectonic base in black-lacquered metal. H. 76 cm, W. 210 cm, D. 95 cm H. 29 7/8 in. w. 82 5/8 in. d. 37 3/8 in. (Scratches, small chip on top, two chips on base) HISTORY Pierre Chareau made this table to order in 1927 for the Reifenberg mansion designed by Robert Mallet-Stevens. In the 1980s, gallerist Maxime Defert initiated a re-edition of this table through his gallery MCDE, in a limited number of copies.
