TWO RARE ROMAN EAGLES - Lot 8
TWO RARE ROMAN EAGLES bronze eagles, probably pieces of furniture. They are similar and both stand with their wings outstretched, their bodies powerful. Overlapping incised feathers, their heads arched forward arched forward, looking to the right, their tails extend to the rear with rectangular raised rectangular tongues and small holes in the center of their backs for attachment.
