French school of the late eighteenth century After Carle Vanloo Allegory of Architecture Oil on canvas (Original canvas) 58.7 x 72.2 cm The original model was created by Carle Vanloo (1705-1768) and is now in the Fine Arts Museum, San Francisco (inv. 1950.11). This allegory was part of a larger cycle comprising the four arts, including "Music", "Painting" and "Sculpture".
