"I am a mystic and all mystics have loved gold."
Salvador Dali.
These are the words of artist Salvador Dali when he talks about his relationship with gold. In 1966, he created coins in his effigy, called "Dali d'or". Aware of Piaget's exceptional talent in working with this noble material, it was only natural that in 1967 he joined forces with them to create rare jewelry and watches using his coins. Our example is particularly rare, featuring a tiger's eye dial.
