In a mute folder and with the book by Jean-Clarence LAMBERT, Central Park, Pierre Alechinsky, Paris: Yves Rivière, 1976, in-8, paperback, illustrated cover, one of 100 numbered copies signed by the author. All in a slipcase illustrated in color by the publisher. Superb suite of 4 prints by Alechinsky on the theme of Central Park, justified and signed by the artist, and accompanied by the text of Jean-Clarence Lambert. This suite of prints is issued from the famous painting of the artist which represents an aerial view of Central Park, represented as a monster devouring all those who enter its domain. Chosen in 1965 by André Breton for the XIth International Exhibition of Surrealism at the Galerie de l'OEil, in Paris, Central Park is the first acrylic painting with "marginal remarks" by Pierre Alechinsky.
