Reverse side of the portrait in profile of Alfonso I d'Este (1476 - 1534), duke of Ferrara, surrounded by the inscription: [ALFONSUS.ESTENSIS]. Italy, XVIth century Diameter : 5,4 cm (wear to the patina of both sides) COMPARATIVES - A medal representing Lucretia Borgia takes up the recto of our medal is preserved in the Louvre museum under the reference OA 10580 - A two-sided medal in bronze with golden patina.
