Silver clock with a single hand and striking Hinged case with chased and pierced decoration on the case middle, foliage motifs and two dogs lying, the back with a coat of arms topped by a crown. White enamel dial with a single hand with Roman numerals for the hours, minute track, in the center a chased and pierced decoration on a blue background. Mechanical movement with key winding, verge escapement, chased and pierced cock, spiral balance, setting disc numbered from 1 to 12, striking with a hammer on a bell, signature on the plate "C. Thierry au Mans". In all likelihood, the coat of arms on the back of this watch is that of the family of the Lord of Quesnoy, near Coutances.
