MONDRIAN, Piet (1872-1944).
L.A.S. S.l., "Thursday, Oct. 9". 1 p. in-8. Two faint spots. Mondrian, Lubbers, and Kiesler, artists and architect of the New York avant-garde: "Dear Friend, I don't know if Kiesler [architect Frederick (1890-1965)] has returned yet, but Lubbers [Dutch painter Adriaan Lubbers (1892-1954)] is inviting you to dinner at his house one evening. Would you let me know what day would be convenient for you and Lubbers will come to my house with his car. We could have tea at my place and do a little jazz and then Lubbers will take us in his car to his place, maybe he will make some good cocktails, but you don't like that! [...] ". Nice signature. Letter published in Frederick Kiesler: Face to Face with the Avant-Garde: Essays on Network [...], by Peter Bogner and Gerd Zillner, from the Frederick Kiesler Foundation, 2019.
