L.A.S. "P. Cézanne", Tholonet, September 8, 1897, addressed to Emile SOLARI 1 page 1/4 in-8 (trace of fold, some very light wetnesses). Amusing letter. [Émile SOLARI (1873-1961), son of the sculptor and friend of Cézanne's youth, Philippe Solari (1840-1906), was Émile Zola's godson]. He thanked him for sending him the magazine L'Avenir artistique et littéraire. "Your father will come to eat duck with me next Sunday. It will be with olives, (the duck of course). How can you not be one of us. Keep me your good memory in the future Ages and allow me to say very cordially to you "... Correspondence (ed. J. Rewald, Grasset, p.328).
