On his work in Rouen for the Cathedrals series. "What a beautiful day my good darling and also what a lot of work I have done without interruption since this morning until 6 a.m. spent 9 canvases but I am tired and I long to be in bed. If I could have this time for ten days or so it would be really nice. This morning I thought I would not be able to work. As soon as I got up I felt very dizzy and my heart was soaked to the point of death; after that I didn't appear. I was quite tired last night and a little upset, I hope you don't mind, it was probably those nerves that made me tease. I love you, my darling, and you must love me too, and pass on this little childishness to me.
