Brown and red ink on parchment, gothic script, text on 20 lines. France, late 13th c. 85 x 113 mm (defects). Portion of a leaf extracted from a work of law or casuistry. Marginal pen drawing of a knight in armour. Brown ink, gothic script. Parchment partly laminated. France, circa 1400. 85 x 105 mm. Leaf from a breviary. Initials painted in blue and red. Brown and red ink on parchment, gothic script, text on two columns. France, circa 1450. 125 x 184 mm. Bi-foil extracted from a liturgical calendar. Months of January and December. Brown and red ink. The presence of St. Erhard, bishop of Regensburg (January 8) indicates a southern German origin (Regensburg?). Middle of the 15th century. Brown and red ink on parchment. 170 x 110 mm. (3 holes at the seam). Leaf from a Bible. End of the Maccabees and beginning of the New Testament (preface of Saint Jerome on the Gospels). 2 initials in burnished gold on coloured backgrounds, with acanthus leaf extensions.
