Corrected proofs, Speech by M. Paul Painlevé, [1923]; 17 pages in-4, bound in midnight blue morocco, framed with cold filets on the boards, framed inside with gilt filets (Gruel). Speeches for the Tercentenary celebrations of the birth of Blaise PASCAL, celebrated in Clermont-Ferrand, on July 8, 1923. These proofs contain autograph corrections and additions, with the final proof, and an autograph letter to Horace FINALY. Attached is a proof of the Report of the Second Committee of Experts of the Reparations Commission, 1924 (bound in the same binding by Gruel), with a letter from André ATTHALIN to Horace Finaly (April 5, 1924), with the photograph of the Committee of Experts, signed by the five members: Mario Alberti, A. Atthalin, Albert E. Janssen, Reginald McKenna Henry M. Robinson.
