Tibet, late 19th century Thangka in polychrome on canvas representing white Jambhala seated on the Snow Lion, the right hand raised in vitarka mudra holding the parasol, the left hand holding the mongoose which spits out jewels. The deity is leaning against a mandorla surmounted by Yamantaka, behind which appears a temple; all around are riders and worshippers. Damask silk border.
