A pair of black lacquered metal temple lanterns, hexagonal in shape, with openwork and repoussé decoration, each side depicting a four-armed deity dancing on a lotus among floral scrolls, the lantern crowned by a Mahakala head surmounted by a suspension ring, allowing it to be hung from a high black lacquered metal shaft, decorated with repoussé of a dragon coiling upwards, to the head of which the lantern is attached. The shafts are attached to a tripod stand carried by three anthropomorphic creatures. H. 160 cm - H. Lantern: 31 cm - W. lantern: 21 cm.
