Affectionate and friendly correspondence from the singer to a pupil. October 6, 1873. Still in Bougival, she won't return until the good weather is over, but goes to Paris "three times a week for my lessons". She suggested a date: "I would be delighted to see you again [...] and to continue to count you among my dearest young pupils"... January 1, 1874. She announces a great news: "my Claudie is engaged to Mr Georges cHamerot [...]. We are all extremely happy of this marriage, because it would be difficult to find better in all the aspects that constitute happiness"... 13 February: a friend of her daughter's fiancé, Mr Normand, "very good dancer [...] would be happy to receive an invitation"... June 6, appointment for a lesson: "I will be at your disposal, my dearest and kindest Mademoiselle Marie"... May 17, 1876: "How happy you are to travel like that!
