[May 1889]. "I have a very lively desire to attend the first performance of Esclarmonde"... [May 15, 1893]. "I am singing at the Concert Lamoureux the great aria of Hérodiade next Sunday and I have come to ask you if there is a way to play it again with you"... September 5, 1903]: "I am waiting for a little word to tell me when and where? I don't have a piano here. - I'd rather work in the morning if it's possible."... - She worked on Sevillana: "I think I'll sing it well, I hope so because I'm enthusiastic. I have to sing it with you once before I leave"... Etc. An L.A.S. by Emmanuel CHABRIER (February 1, 1889), and a beautiful L.A.S. by Victor MASSÉ is attached to Massenet about the revival of Roi de Lahore (November 5, 1877)
