Inrô with three ro-iro lacquer cases decorated with gold hiramaki-e and raden and pewter inlays representing water irises and their leaves; the interior in fundame lacquer. Ojime in openwork metal in the shape of a sea knot. Netsuke in carved wood in the shape of a walnut decorated with Ebisu holding a sea bream. Signature engraved inside the lid: Hokyô Kôrin, indicating that the motif is inspired by the painter Kôrin (famous for his irises). Dim. 6 x 5 cm (Wear, some chips)
