Nice general presentation Notebooks, jack and tool kit Attractive valuation Belgian registration Chassis number: ZFFWC26S000063827 Distribution kit changed, water pump replaced, fuel injection changed and cleaned (February 2021 - invoice attached). We are at the end of the 70's, the Dino 308 GT4 sees its career come to an end. Convinced of the viability of a four-seater GT with a central rear engine, Enzo Ferrari entrusted the design of the new V8 berlinetta to Pininfarina. Thus was born in 1980 the Ferrari Mondial, which had an exceptionally long career of 14 years, unthinkable today. The line was refined and brought up to the standards of the time. Wraparound bumpers, side air vents, retractable headlights. The bodywork is based on a tubular chassis, whose wheelbase has been lengthened by ten centimetres, making the Ferrari Mondial more habitable than its predecessor. The four-cam V8 engine is mounted on a new removable cradle that supports the engine, transmission and rear suspension. It originally developed 214 hp, which gradually increased to 240 hp with the Quattrovalvole series, then to 270 hp with the 3.2 Mondial and finally to 300 hp with the Mondial T. The Ferrari Mondial offers four independent seats in Connolly leather, allowing rear passengers to travel comfortably while enjoying the sound of the V8. The version we offer here is a Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet delivered new on March 25, 1987 by the Ferrari dealer in Triesen, Liechtenstein. The car was thus registered for the first time in Switzerland in the canton of Vaud and was thus equipped with a catalytic converter. As its service manual and maintenance records show, the car received almost uninterrupted regular maintenance until 2014. It was then imported to Belgium on the initiative of a collector living in the Kortrijk region. Our example is in its original configuration with its Rosso Corsa colour and its superb Connolly beige leather in perfect condition. The body is in very good condition, free of any dents, the alignments are good and the black soft top is perfect. When we open the front trunk, we find the jack and the Ferrari tools in their original cover. With only 47,350 km on the odometer, and having benefited from a recent maintenance with the change of the timing system and the water pump, this Ferrari Mondial represents the opportunity to acquire a real V8-powered convertible with four real seats, for a very competitive price.
