1966 ASA 1100 GT Coupé
Rare and desirable Nice presentation Same owner from 1988 to 2019 French registration title as historic vehicle Chassis n° ASA10001202 At the end of the 1950s, Ferrari’s finances were weighed down by the expensive Scuderia. The sale of passenger cars is no longer enough and the Commendatore decides to widen the range downwards to reach a wider clientele. The car has in the meantime been modified, the front end swaps its bubble optics and any connection with Ferrari is ignored. It was only in 1964 that the first ASA 1000GT was produced, the assembly was finally entrusted to Ellena in Turin. Due to a too high selling price and a very long delivery time, the little GT is struggling to find her audience. ASA ceased its activity in 1967. In the end, around a hundred copies were produced.
