2 L.A.S. and 3 L.S. "Aug. Rodin", 1902-1915, to Jean LIMET; 7 pages in various formats. Jean LIMET (1855-1941), a childhood friend of Rodin, became his collaborator: Rodin entrusted him with the patina of his bronzes, and entrusted him with photographs of his work]. October 31, 1902, Rodin would like to know when Limet returns to Paris "so that we do not find ourselves overwhelmed by a few pieces"; he will give him "some money". January 4, 1913, he would like to "know if my great figure is ready"... Meaning February 18, 1914. He asks him to make "the photos from the marbles of the University Street and plaster. On the rue de Varenne they will be made, when I will return perhaps before, a month and a half. There are difficulties with the marbles but they are good"... Cap Martin 27th February 1914. He "promised the man who walks for the Belgian Exhibition. [...] For the photos to be taken at the Hotel Biron, I must be there, but for those in the Rue de l'Université, you can take the marbles, dear friend, I know it's difficult, so much the better, it will be one of our studies. The big marble figure standing in different directions"... Le Châtelet en Brie 29th July 1914, he invites Limet to lunch on Saturday rue de Varenne, having to talk to him. 16th June 1915. He begs him to bring "the bronze bust of my wife and the little head with the broken nose", to Meudon, or Friday at the Biron Hotel.
