Pair of bases in three parts, mounted as a lamp, in red and brown soapstone, the shape evoking a Gu with a swollen central part decorated in slight relief with floral motifs, foot and neck incised with scrolls and stylised leaves, partly gold lacquered to imitate gilded bronze.
