Signed autograph letter, signed « Papa », Berlin 27 October 1924, to his eldest son Hans Albert EINSTEIN (1904-1973), in Zurich ; 1 page and a quarter, in-12 format, address (Postcard) ; in German. Family-related letter to his eldest son, also discussing his research. Having returned from Holland, Einstein asks his son about his exams, the move and anything else he might have to share. He is taking a boat to Buenos Aires on 3 March. He no longer comes to Switzerland regularly because V.B. is working at the Institut in Paris where the meetings will be held. He suggests that Hans Albert write to Anschütz [Hermann ANSCHÜTZ-KAEMPFE (1872-1931), inventor and industrialist] in Munich, for a summer internship in his plant. Einstein formulated excuses on behalf of « Mother » with Ehrenfest [Paul EHRENFEST (1880-1933), physicist]. He has a lot of work. Piccard [Auguste Piccard (1884-1962), physicist], previously in Zürich and now in Brussels will conduct electrical experiments tied to terrestrial magnetism (« Hier gibt es viel Arbeit.
